Communications Coordinator (Posted July 16, 2019)
Grace Church in Yorktown is seeking a communications coordinator, 18 hours per week.  The Communications Coordinator is a new position designed to fill a critical role in the church. This individual will work closely with the clergy, staff, and parishioners to oversee parish communications, both internally and externally. The Coordinator of Parish Communications will ensure accurate, timely, high-quality content and strategies for social media, website, print pieces, signage, and other media outlets, helping translate and represent Grace Church’s distinct and voice in appealing, effective ways. Grace Church in Yorktown is seeking a parish administrator, 30 hours per week. Under the supervision of the Rector, the Parish Administrator provides administrative support to advance the ministries and mission of Grace Episcopal Church.  The position assists in the management of all the functions and business of the parish, including the areas of risk management, human resources, facility management, and Vestry support. Martin's Brandon Church in Burrowsville, Virginia (on Route 10 West between Surry and Hopewell) is seeking an organist to serve as Minister of Music-- one service on Sundays at 11 am with one to two monthly choir rehearsals and liberal leave policy.  Ideal position for a musician who enjoys small church ministry and an enthusiastic "singing" congregation. Old Donation Episcopal Church in Virginia Beach seeks a Youth & Children's Minister. We seek someone with a heart for God, attractive personality, and a love for children and young people. Direction of the Sunday School program, weekly youth group meetings, Bible Study, relationship building, faith formation and communication with students and parents are key elements of the job. Parish Administrator (Posted June 6, 2019)
The Church of the Good Shepherd in Richmond seeks a part-time parish administrator (16 hours/week). Primary duties include communications (weekly bulletin, E-news), systems coordination (scheduling, maintaining parish rolls, volunteer coordination), office administration (operation of phones, copier, service contracts) and secretarial assistance to the Rector.
