Ridley Foundation Scholarships

The Ridley Foundation Board of Trustees of the Diocese of Southern Virginia encourages the youth, their sponsors, and priests to request or download applications so that the Diocese might assist deserving young people in earning their undergraduate degrees.

The Bishop Vache Scholarship

The Bishop Vache Scholarships provide funds to assist low-income and minority college students in the Diocese of Southern Virginia. First year students as well as returning college students are welcome to apply.

Seeds of Hope Grants

Seeds of Hope grants are available to congregations and diocesan groups (e.g., affiliated institutions, commissions and task forces) within the Episcopal Diocese of Southern Virginia. Grants must support the development of new programs or support the expansion of such ministries that are already in action within congregations of the diocese.

2011 Mission Initiative Grants

Mission Network is making available grants of up to $1000 per Convocation to be used in an Evangelistic Mission Initiative. You know your context and culture best, so we are allowing you to use the money in a way that makes the most sense for your situation. Be creative! How can you raise the visibility of the Episcopal Church in your area? How could you better equip the congregations in your Convocation to be more inviting and welcoming? Small Church Emergency Maintenance Fund

A limited fund is available each year out of which grants and loans are available to small congregations to help cover up to half of the cost for emergency maintenance or repair. The application is available here: Emergency Maintenance Fund Grant/Loan application.
