Nursery Worker (Posted October 4, 2017)

Emmanuel, Hampton, is looking for a qualified individual to help staff our nursery during Sunday morning services. Hours are 9:30 to noon each Sunday. The ideal candidate will be known to their parish for at least six months, good with children, and able to complete the diocesan Safe Church Training. St. Thomas, Chesapeake, is seeking a part time sexton for custodian/janitorial support. This is a daytime position averaging 10 hours per week. Candidate should be able to climb stairs/ladders and be able to lift 50lbs. The position requires an individual who is self-motivated and has a positive attitude and strong work ethic. This person must be able to work independently and as part of a team. They must be flexible, responsible, and relate well to other church staff, congregants and visitors. Director of Shared Ministry (Posted August 24, 2017)

All Saints Episcopal Church in Richmond is currently looking to fill the Director of Shared Ministry position. This is a part-time, 25 hour/week job, schedule to be determined. The main responsibilities include: managing and growing the annual and planned giving, communicating with the parish through newsletters, emails, and phone calls, connecting newcomers and current parishioners to All Saints, creating and managing a volunteer team, event planning, and attending Sunday services as well as other All Saints events. We need a multitasker, creative thinker, self-starter, motivator, and someone who has a passion for helping other to use their gifts in church and the wider world. Experience in fundraising, marketing, communications, and non-profits is a plus. St. Cyprian’s Episcopal Church, Hampton, Virginia, is seeking a Parish Administrator (18 hrs. per week).  This administrative position oversees and manages the day-to-day operation and functions of the parish under the direct supervision of the Rector. The Parish Administrator supports the work of the Rector and the Vestry. Post-secondary education preferred in Office Administration, including demonstrated ability to use the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point) and Publisher. Excellent written and oral communication skills required in addition to demonstrated administrative, supervisory, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
