Director of Youth Ministry (Posted May 22, 2018)

Christ Church in Ponte Vedra, Florida is a 6400-member congregation seeking a full-time Director of Youth Ministry (DYM) who would be responsible for developing, coordinating, and administering an effective and comprehensive ministry for youth between grades 6-12, and to their families, consistent with the Christ Church mission statement, “transforming lives through the love of God in Christ.” This person will be part of a Family Formation Team, working alongside the Associate Rector for Formation and reporting to the Director of Family Formation. The DYM will also serve with a youth ministry team that includes an assistant director. This person will work collaboratively with the Youth Ministry Renovation Team (lay leadership team) to establish a vision for the youth ministry as well as build the infrastructure necessary for a sustainable model of youth ministry, including a commitment to the position for at least three-five years. Director of Children & Youth Ministries (Posted May 21, 2018)

Grace Episcopal Church, located in historic Yorktown, Virginia, is seeking a creative and engaging Director of Children and Youth Ministries (DCYM) to sustain and expand programs for its growing congregation.  We are an inclusive community of faith, invested in the spiritual growth and formation of children, youth, and families. Responsibilities include inspiring children and youth to a life of faith, nurturing a community of mutual support, developing and overseeing Christian Formation programs, recruiting and training volunteers, collaborating with clergy and staff, and performing administrative duties. The DCYM must be able to relate to and work with children, youth, and their parents and be committed to meeting the diverse and unique needs of children of all ages. Excellent relationship-building and communication skills, including written, oral, and various social media strategies, are necessary. Previous experience in youth ministry in a parish setting or a compelling alternative is essential. Experience in both teaching and administration is preferred. Hours are flexible, but must include your presence on Sundays, when parents and children are available, and at other times to collaborate with clergy and staff.  Salary depends on available time commitment, education, qualifications, and relevant experience. Campus Minister (Posted May 17, 2018)

Johns Memorial Episcopal Church in Farmville seeks applicants for a Campus Minister. This is an exciting opportunity to work with college students in one of the country's few two-college small towns. The job will begin August 1, 2018, and the successful applicant will work with students at Hampden-Sydney College and Longwood University and also with other college-aged young people in the area. Johns Memorial is a parish founded in 1879 with a vibrant congregation of over one hundred active members. Choir Accompanist/Assistant Organist (Posted May 16, 2018)

Choir Accompanist/Assistant Organist needed for Grace Episcopal Church in Kilmarnock. Duties include accompanying the choir at the principal Sunday morning service and at special seasonal services during the year, one weekly choir rehearsal, and assisting the Director of Music as needed. Qualifications are formal organ training and accompanying experience. Salary is dependent on qualifications. An alternate possibility is an organ scholar who is currently studying organ with the expectation of becoming a church musician. The music at Grace Church is traditional Episcopal and Anglican hymnody and choral music, with Anglican chant for the Psalm. St. Martin’s Episcopal Church in Williamsburg seeks a bookkeeper to assist with financial administration of the parish and its ministries. The bookkeeper works in collaboration with rector, parish administrator, treasurer, and parish finance committee. Duties include: accounts receivable and payable, payroll, donations and other income, general ledger, restricted accounts, audit, and year-end reports.
