Communications Manager (Posted February 11, 2020)
The Episcopal Church of the Redeemer in Midlothian is seeking candidates for a part-time Communications Manager.  Qualified candidates will have proficiency in Publisher, Word, and other Office software applications.  An understanding of and ability to update and monitor social media platforms also a requirement.  Experience with church bulletins, newsletters, electronic graphic design, and/or familiarity with Episcopal liturgy a plus. Minister of Music (Posted March 9, 2020)
Trinity Episcopal Church in Fredericksburg, VA, is searching for a new Minister of Music. The Minister of Music (MM) shall be responsible for the planning and implementation of the music program for the church and be responsive to the rhythms of the church’s Liturgical year. As such, the MM should have a knowledge of Episcopal liturgy and hymnody. The MM is to have artistic and technical skills on both the organ and piano. He/she should possess sufficient vocal and instrumental conducting skills. The ability to support and encourage both beginning and experienced musicians and other participants is highly desired. This position is part-time, approximately 15-20 hours per week, yet requires the MM be available during the busiest times of the year (Christmas, Holy Week, Easter, etc.). The MM will be a reliable individual possessing enthusiasm, a sense of humor, and the ability to pass a background check. The position is open in June 2020.
